HIP ROOF (PORTUGUESE TRADITIONAL)

When the hip roof is inhabited, the insulation must be laid immediately after the tiles support, in some cases it may also be important to install another insulating layer on the lower side of the concrete slab.

When the roof ends in cornice (in this case known as Portuguese cornice), a set of 2 pieces can be applied, they are the cover and channel tiles or the cover and pan tiles.

2 | cork insulation
3 | concrete structure
4 | rainproof, breathable membrane
