SUSTAINABILITY

CORK is an ecological cork panel for the sound insulation of wooden structures. Cork is an effective material in terms of sound absorption, which significantly reduces the transmission of noise by air and structurally, thus constituting the ideal solution for a sustainable ecological construction. Natural cork is VOC-free and perfect for structures that require minimizing the environmental impact during the construction phase. We include REACH * compliance between the product selection parameters and the production process. This way, high quality standards are guaranteed in terms of health and environmental protection. The product is also suitable for the Passivhaus construction concept.

FEATURES

The cork agglomerate is resistant to moisture and aging, even if it is under load. Available in two versions:

• CORK SOFT: version with lower density and larger grain.
• CORK HARD: version with higher density and smaller grains.

USES

It can be used both in cement and masonry, to protect against rising damp and as a wall barrier.

* REACH is a regulation approved by the EU with the aim of improving the protection of human and environmental health from the risks that may result from chemicals. This regulation also promotes alternative methods for assessing the hazards of substances considering the reduction in the number of tests on animals. The word REACH means Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals. The regulation came into effect on 1 June 2007.
