SOFALCA is a Portuguese family company, founded in 1966, based in Abrantes, dedicated to the production of Expanded Cork Agglomerate, for thermal, acoustic and vibration insulation and creative cork design solutions. It was a pioneer in the installation of the 1st. biomass boiler, recycling existing waste (cork dust), being 95% energy self-sufficient. It complies with all environmental standards, including being a company certified as a cork recycler.
